Engineering drives innovation, solves complex challenges, and plays a vital role in shaping the future. The David Goodnight Scholarship was established to support ambitious undergraduate engineering students who demonstrate creativity, leadership, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact through technology and innovation.
This scholarship is awarded to students who exhibit strong critical-thinking skills, academic dedication, and a clear vision for their future. Particular consideration will be given to applicants with an entrepreneurial mindset—those who aspire to launch a company, develop innovative products, or create solutions that address real-world challenges.
As part of the application process, students are encouraged to share their long-term goals, describe the impact they hope to make in their field, and submit supporting materials that showcase their ideas and accomplishments. Examples may include sketches, technical drawings, prototypes, research projects, business concepts, or other relevant work that demonstrates innovation and initiative.
